The Four-Way Test Essay Contest

Each year we hold a competition for local 8th graders to write an essay about the 4-way test and what it means to them and their life.  It is quite a joy to read these amazing essays and see the insight many of these young people have.  Congratulations to this year's winners and thank you for coming to our meeting and reading your award winning essays!

School Clothes for Kids!

Each year we get so excited for our School Clothes for Kids project.  Through the generous support of our individual members, the club and a matching grant from Rotary District 5520, we are able to shop with local children for the clothes they need for school.  This year because of an unexpected increase in the grant we received from the district, we were able to shop with a total of 35 kids!  With the help of our local Boys & Girls Club of Otero County we were able to identify families in need.  This year because of the large number of participants we shopped with one group before Christmas and wrapped up our second group in March.  We are so grateful to be able to do this project each year and we are thankful to all the donors and volunteers that come out in support of the children and families in our community. Thank You!
